Researcher in complex systems and networks, translating published science into Mantias — supply-chain intelligence for the pharmaceutical industry.

About

I work on complex systems and networks. My focus is how structure and timing, who interacts with whom, when, and how often, shape the behavior of large systems, from social groups to supply networks. My background is in physics and data science. I co-founded Mantias to turn that work into supply-chain intelligence for the pharmaceutical sector.

The company

Mantias

“Know your supply chain. Before it fails.”

Mantias builds a digital twin of global pharmaceutical manufacturing, mapping supplier networks at the factory and production-step level so companies and regulators can spot vulnerabilities before they turn into disruptions and financial losses. It grew directly out of our 2025 Science paper on supply-chain vulnerabilities in critical medicines, founded together with colleagues in economics and complex systems.

Research

Mantias is grounded in real, published network science. This is the research behind it.

Complex systems & networks

How structure and interdependence shape the resilience and fragility of large systems, from social groups to supply networks.

Networks that change over time

Modeling how connections form and evolve, even when the underlying data is sparse or noisy.

Supply chain resilience

Mapping production networks to find vulnerabilities before they become shortages. This work is the foundation of Mantias.
